Day Six of The Goth Challenge

Day Six: Hand write your favorite lyric and take a picture.

That was very hard to do.  My favorites change all the time, but there are some songs that stand to be my favorite always.  So I chose one that I knew what was my all time favorite from one of my top two favorite bands.  Kill the Lights by The Birthday Massacre.

I really love the whole song so I picked out a part that stood out.  In the song there are references to fairy tales.  But fairy tales are only just that.  There may not be that prince charming.  But yet we still hope that there is, we all want that fairly tale ending.

And I hate watching creepy pointless movies, they make me feel all icky inside.  We watched one tonight, who knew it would be like that.  It was Let Me In, and I was not impressed.

I'm sorry but this is all for today, again.

Day Five of The Goth Challenge

Day five: Is there a local Goth band or group in your area?

That's very easy to answer.  No.  The closest bands I can think of are at least a two days drive to where they formed their band, like Los Angeles, California.  And there is not goth group in my area either.  Montana is mountain and bear country, ranch and farming country, so you're most likely to see ten cowboys than one goth.  And if there is I certainly don't know about it.

And I am afraid this is it for today, sadly I just don't have anything to write about at the moment, plus I'll be busy today.

Sincerely,
Angel of Darkness

Day Four of The Goth Challenge

Day Four: Name a stereotype or chiche you can relate to.

I know it's not Halloween yet.

I don't think I can do just one honestly, so I'm not going to.

  •  I love Halloween as much as I love Christmas and Easter, so yeah, a lot.  In fact I think Halloween should be a day off holiday, how nice would that be.  I've wished that since I can remember.  And Halloween decorations, I would have them up in my room not just in October.
  • Old stone churches and graveyards.  Love them too.  I love taking pictures of them and looking at the architecture, especially on Catholic churches.
  • Haunted houses are the best.  And even though I don't believe in ghosts, I still love to think they're there.
  • I love the supernatural and the night sky.  If you haven't heard of a Christian liking and believing in the supernatural, you've been in the dark my friend.  Believing in God himself and demons and angels and in the spiritual realms is in its self supernatural.  I love to watch supernatural thrillers, or read or watch books and movies with witches.
  • Trench coats.  I love to wear trench coats.

Bats, did I meantion bats, cats, crows and ravens.

And there you have it.

Sincerely,

Day Three of The Goth Challenge

Day Three of the Goth Challenge: When did you come out of the Goth closet?
Mmm... let's see. Probably sometime a year ago.

Well see, I never actually went and told someone that yes I was goth.  More like they just eventually knew for figured it out because it was obvious.  My sister as of sometime in April of last year told a friend of her's who asked me why I wore black a lot that I was "Gothic".  It was actually kind of funny to her a seven year old say that with such confidence.  And it wasn't too long after that that she had my mom look up what it was and saw that there was a whole lot of similarities and so it much be it.  I never reallt felt comfortable with the idea of calling myself a goth till then anyways because by them I new pretty well all about the scene.  A friend of mine had commented that I was really into all this goth stuff.  Which I don't really get that or when people say, "So are you goth or something?"  Yeah...
Anyways.  I never told my parents because I didn't have to, I think they just kind of figured and went along with it.

Day Two of The Goth Challenge

This is the second day of the the Goth Challenge from Juliet's Lace.  This one is going to be a bit tricky as far as the pictures part goes because I never liked being in pictures because I'm not all that photogenic.  I think sometimesthat I'm still a bit of a babybat, but then again if I am I'm at the end.

Day Two: Share photos and experiences from your babybat day.
Here we go.

That's me as the far right side.  This was at my fourteenth birthday party.  Told you, not pictures unless I had to.

Taken at Yellowstone National Park.

I must add this horrible picture of me because it shows me in my first trench coat that I still have a love even if it's two sizes too big.  My style was a slow journey.  When I first wore black nail polish I was twelve, it was for Halloween and I was nervous to wear it.  I don't know why, my mom was fine with it.  The funny thing is that once when I was shopping with my mom she told me that I was picking out all the dark and black clothes.  Till that moment I was not aware of it.

This is from my fifteenth birthday party.  This picture might seem familiar to you if you read an older post of mine on goth and me.  At this point my style was more noticeable as goth.

I remember my favorite outfit as being black skinny jeans, my Airwalk Converse style shoes, and my black shirt with a cross on it that I found at Goodwill back in 2007 that is still my favorite shirt today, but it is starting to fall apart. :(  Another outfit I liked to wear was my Tripp pants, black shirt, silver cross necklace, my awesome boots that I can not longer wear because the zipper broke, and my trench coat.  A tad babybat don't you think?  But even though I knew about the fashions of goth I still even today like those outfits.

Listening to: The Cure - Just Like Heaven
My favorite song! <3
